No project is successful unless it has committed people at its heart so we need many people to be involved. The core group has been organising the necessary legislative arrangements with the Home Office through our lead sponsor Citizens UK and has also sourced a suitable house. There will still need to be some fundraising activities to raise sufficient funds, again the core group will oversee this.

But you too could be involved! There are still some available places in the core group that need fulfilling but we also need people to work with us throughout the project on a multitude of activities. Once our family arrives they will need to integrate into the community, they will need to learn English, they will need to find the shops, Doctors, schools, playgrounds, local amenities we all take for granted and much much more. All these things need people who are prepared to give time to the project to assist the family to settle. If you think you can help in any way however large or small we want to hear from you, please. If you cannot give time but still want to support us you could make a financial contribution to the project. Our initial target was £9,000 but we will need more.
